My sister’s getting married! I was so thrilled to hear that my sister got engaged. What’s a sister to do but offer to do her engagement photos. We made wonderful use of my annual trip back east to visit one of our favorite waterfall spots for these photos. I’m thrilled with the results. Can’t wait to shoot the wedding!

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011Had a wonderful engagement session a few days ago with the most charming couple. I will be shooting Sacha and Eugene’s wedding in July. What better way than to get acquainted than with an engagement session? The pair share a great love of trees…they even have rings made of wood (so cool!), so I suggested one of my favorite locations filled with natural beauty and several lovely oak trees. I just love working with a couple who can commune so easily with nature. What a fun and relaxed session!

I had such a blast at this shoot. This was just about the most beautiful pair of people I have ever met! They just looked so happy and in love. Brought my husband along to assist in this one too. It was super handy to have him there holding the reflector and creating shade for me. Seriously…all sessions should be this fun!
