I can’t believe how my boy has grown! I started this whole photography thing when he was just a few months old. 11 looks good on ya kid!
Life has gotten super hectic lately, so for this recent birthday session, not only were we several weeks late, I finally decided…Hey…let’s just go to the park and do a play/photoshoot thing. It was super laid back and fun, the kids loved it! These are also very simple Lightroom edits, no Photoshop on these snaps. I still love them though!

I had the pleasure of going out to what we affectionately call the “Run Around Park” Mother’s Day evening for some photos. My sweet husband was good enough to take some photos of me and my boy. We had promised that after the pictures Nathan and Daddy would play ball a little. The sun was setting and I saw an opportunity for a lovely silhouette shot. I’m so glad I didn’t put the camera away. I just adore this photo of my two boys.
What a wonderful Mother’s Day gift!
It’s been a while since I posted anything. Took my new lens out for a test drive today and I just love it. Here are a few snaps of my boy. Happy to see that the new macro lens is up to the portrait challenge and though it’s not a super speedy focusing machine, it is still fast enough to capture the lightning fast Nathan. It ought to do well on much slower moving targets such as newborns and actors.
